Compare The Bookie compares Australian bookmakers. We are a comparison and review site only — we are not a bookmaker, we do not take bets, hold customer funds or provide gambling services of any kind.

Anything you read here is general information, not advice. Betting decisions are yours alone, and any account you open with a bookmaker is between you and that bookmaker, on their terms.

Gambling is restricted to adults in Australia. This site is intended for people aged 18 and over — if you are under 18, please do not use it.

We work to keep ratings, features and details current, but bookmakers change their products, offers and terms without telling us. Always check the details on the bookmaker's own site before signing up or placing a bet.

Scores and rankings reflect our method at the time of publication — the How we rate page explains exactly how they are put together.

Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you join a bookmaker through one, we may earn a commission. This never affects a score, a ranking position or what we write — rankings are never for sale. Our Editorial policy covers this in full.

If you submit a punter rating or review, you confirm it reflects your own genuine experience and you give us permission to publish it on the site. Reviews are moderated against a fixed set of grounds before appearing — a review is never rejected just for being negative.

Contact messages and reviews you send are handled as described in our Privacy policy.

Please don't misuse the site: no interfering with how it runs, no automated stuffing of punter ratings, and no copying our content wholesale to republish as your own. Quoting a short excerpt with a link back is always welcome.

The site is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on information here or from your dealings with any bookmaker. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
